Joan Jordan
Church Secretary
Meet Joan Jordan – Church Secretary
Joan serves as our part-time secretary, handling the weekly bulletins, keeping our church calendar up to date, and managing membership and Sunday School records. She plays a quiet but vital role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes!
Joan was born in Elberton and has deep roots at Bethel E Baptist Church, where she grew up and came to faith during a summer revival in 1964. She’s been part of the Bethel E family most of her life, aside from a few years spent in college and a short time living in Athens, GA.
Joan is married to Rabun Jordan, and they’re celebrating 50 years of marriage this year! Over the years, she has faithfully served in countless ways—from teaching Sunday School and leading VBS to directing children’s plays and hosting women’s Bible studies. A retired teacher and media specialist, Joan now enjoys combining her skills and heart for ministry in her part-time role at the church.
We’re so grateful for her wisdom, warmth, and lifelong commitment to Bethel E!
