Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes: Ways to help
A few Samaritan’s Purse boxes are put together and on display in the Sanctuary. If you choose to pack a box or two at home, please pick up the number of boxes you need.
Other ways to help:
-We need volunteers to put together more boxes. (See Joan Jordan)
-Packing Event on Wednesday, November 12th at 6:30 pm and help the children pack their boxes. If you do, please bring items with you to put in boxes, like, the “WOW” items, or fun toys like jump ropes, yo-yos, toys that light up, dolls, sunglasses, fun shoes, and other fun things. Other items could be hairbrushes, small notebooks, socks, t-shirts, small tools, sewing kits, etc. Bring more than one of these items so we can fill a lot of boxes. Begin collecting these items as you shop.
-Donate money for the shipping cost, $10 per box. Make sure you designate Samaritan’s Purse on your donation (on envelope or earmark a check).
All filled boxes are due Sunday, November 16th.
